Lion Brand was established in 1909 by Mr. Morris of Greek origin , he started his carrier by established the Lion Glue Factory in Cairo Egypt.

He managed the plant to reach the position of the biggest glue manufacturing factory all over Egypt .

In 1995 Mr. Abdel Rahman El –Alawwad, one of the leading businessman in the same field in Egypt bought the factory as he immediately started equipping the plant with very up to date Germany equipment and succeeded to make the factory produces tow production lines instead of one .

In 1996, Mr.Elawwad started to establish the Lion Glue Company to operate in sales and marketing of his own products. So Lion glue brand played leading roll in the local market .

In the meantime Lion Glue Brand has succeeded to take place in the international market .
